NBA: James nets 21 as Lakers end 4-game losing run, Doncic’s 9th triple-double lifts Mavs over Warriors

LOS ANGELES (AFP) – LeBron James scored 21 points and equalled his NBA season best of 16 assists, as the Los Angeles Lakers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 128-120 win over Portland on Saturday (Dec 28). "We just wanted to play well," he said. "We just try to play the right way, sharing the ball on offence. Win, lose, or draw we did that tonight." He was a late addition to the line-up because of a groin injury that has hampered his play of late, and said treatment for the injury included plenty of ice packs. "I am doing all right. Keppel Bay Tower to be Singapore’s first commercial building fully powered by renewable energy

SINGAPORE – Come Jan 1, Keppel Bay Tower in HarbourFront Avenue will become the first commercial development in Singapore to use renewable energy to power all its operations, including the offices of tenants in the building, Keppel Corp said on Sunday (Dec 29). Its property arm Keppel Land, the owner and operator of Keppel Bay Tower, will be installing an assembly of solar photovoltaic panels (PV) panels spanning about 400 square metres on the roof of the 18-storey building as well as its six-storey podium block. In addition, Keppel Land, through its electricity retailer, Keppel Electric, will be purchasing renewable energy certificates (RECs), which are generated from PV panels installed in Keppel Offshore & Marine's yards in Singapore. When completed in the first quarter of next year, Keppel Bay Tower's PV system is expected to generate an energy yield of about 100,000 kilowatt hour (kWh) per annum. December is my favourite month of the year. There is something festive in the air and there are reasons to catch up with friends over a drink – preferably over something hot, as we tackle the cooler weather recently. It is also the time to shop for gifts for friends and, in my case, I also have to make a list of the presents to prepare for my three kids.
