Manchester United chiefs fear they could lose Jose Mourinho to Paris St-Germain next summer.

United top brass are worried Mourinho feels he can't compete with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City and will leave.

Mourinho's representatives have already held talks with PSG, but there is no offer on the table as yet, according to The Sun.

Jose has made no secret of his affection for PSG, despite the huge financial backing he has received since taking over at Old Trafford.

He said recently: "The other day my son who lives in London went to Paris and not to Manchester to watch the match.

"Because at the moment in Paris there is something special. Magic, quality, youth, it’s fantastic."
